He started DJ’ing in 1987 working alongside his brother in law playing out at local pubs and clubs, and doing Weddings, Birthdays and New Year’s Eve’s. His natural talent was soon spotted and in 1991 he was offered a weekly residency at FUTURES a House club in Deptford (London). Futures soon outgrew its venue and so Tom linked up with Sean McClusky of LOVE RANCH who began the now infamous CLUB UK and Tom became resident of these events between 1992 and 1994 and continued to build his name by regularly guesting out.

In the Summer of 1995 Tom was asked to become resident for LOVE RANCH at SPACE (Ibiza) on Thursday Mornings. Tom impressed several promoters and was approached to play the legendary SPACE on Sunday mornings supporting the likes of Brandon Block and Alex P, and proved his versatility with set’s both inside and on the terrace. Whilst in Ibiza Tom Also played for SIGN OF THE TIMES, at many of the SUNRISE parties and at CAFÉ MAMBO and was also headlining at many of the smaller San Antonio clubs.

Back in the UK Tom Continued to Play for SIGN OF THE TIMES as the main resident, this time based in London at THE ROCKET. 1998 saw five further visits to Ibiza where Tom played for SUNNY SIDE UP at ES PARIDIS, CLOCKWORK ORANGE , and the now infamous GODSKITCHEN at AMNESIA where he made 6 appearances in total with 4 over the ‘99 season. Other clubs / events that Tom has appeared at over a period spanning 12 years include UNITY,CAPETOWN S.A, PEACH, KARANGA, THE PUSSYCAT CLUB, AQUARIUM, KOOL WATERS, GLOW, AUBERGINE as well as events such as WORLD DANCE , ONE WORLD FESTIVAL and RADIO 1 LIVE in NEWQUAY supporting MAURO PICOTTO.

Tom is currently licensee of the DANCE ACADEMY (Plymouth) and manages the club and its
staff on a full time basis. He is also resident and promoter of EYECON, his own night,
playing alongside some of the worlds most talented DJ’S at the DANCE ACADEMY. This popular Saturday night event boasts a weekly attendance of 1200+ and an ever-growing group of dedicated followers that cram the cavernous club almost full to capacity every week.

EYECON @ the Dance Academy was recently voted club of the month by MINISTRY magazine, has received excellent reviews in MIXMAG (recommended and club of the month),and has played host to the MIXMAG, RECOVER, LASHED , SERIOUS and GOODGREEF club tours. Tom currently headlines weekly along side the likes of Lisa Lashes, Scott Mac, Tall Paul, Judge Jules, The Disco Brothers and the Tidy Boys. August 2003 saw 2 boat parties which were both packed out and a massive outdoor event for EYECON – it’s first ever which was a massive success with over 2000 people in attendance. Tom was responsible for the entire planning of these events and they have certainly paved the way for bigger and better events in the same vein next summer.

Tom is currently working hard in the studio to follow up his previous tracks, one of which
was signed to an independent German Label (superstar) and his diary for 2003 – 2004 is
filling up nicely with some exciting gigs in the pipeline for promoters such as Clockwork
Orange & The Gallery @ EDEN (Ibiza), Slinky @ Privilege (Ibiza), Tr@nzaction @ L2 (Truro),
Full Tilt @ Claires (Torquay) , Scream @ the Firestation, Bristol and The Gallery, Capetown S.A. There are big plans for EYECON for this year and beyond with its own record label, a new website and even a world tour in the pipeline so watch this space.
