Mark EG is one of the UK's legendary underground DJ's. He specializes in many different
areas of dance music - ranging from the punishing rhythms of hard driving techno or the
pulsating beats of hard percussive trance, to the more melodic side of European dance or
progressive trance. His ability to change his style to suit all types of party, but still keep his music fresh and exciting, is presently propelling Mark right to the forefront of the underground dance movement.

With a DJ history that spans back to the early 1980's, Mark is now widely acclaimed for his intense and captivating stage presence, as well as his skillful programmed crossover sets. His most notable recent achievements include the near sonic domination of the Canadian trance scene (a close second to Paul Oakenfold in a popular Magazine Poll)

his massive popularity in the Eastern European techno scene for the last seven years
(including Serbia, where techno is the biggest form of club music in the country) and his
almost cult-like status within the UK hard dance movement (especially in the South-West
where his residency sets at places such as The Country Club have been legendary).

I've always enjoyed so many different types of electronic music,' begins Mark, 'so I can
always take a good cross section when I play somewhere new. I've definitely got my own
sound, as I tend to opt for the harder edge of a particular genre when I play out - but I do like to be able to fluctuate in and out where necessary to suit the club I'm playing for.

There's too many DJ's that stay within the boundaries of a particular style and this surely
limits your creativity. I think my production reflects this too, so I have a lot of different projects out there.'
